⚖️ 1. Local Self-Government Ombudsman

OMBUDSMAN FOR LSGIs

The Local Self-Government Ombudsman is an independent judicial mechanism for filing complaints against elected representatives or officials of Local Self-Government Institutions regarding corruption, irregularities, misuse of authority, dereliction of duty, and other related matters.

The institution is headed by a person holding the status of a High Court Judge.

 

🏛️ 2. Local Self-Government Institutions Tribunal

LSGI TRIBUNAL

The Local Self-Government Institutions Tribunal is a legal mechanism for filing appeals against decisions and orders issued by the Panchayat Governing Body or Secretary, including matters such as rejection of licences and cancellation of building permits.

💻 3. Chief Minister's Complaint Redressal Portal

CMO PORTAL

Delays in Panchayat services and other difficulties can be brought directly to the attention of the Chief Minister through the online complaint redressal portal.

Complaints submitted through the Chief Minister's Complaint Redressal Portal are required to be considered and disposed of within the prescribed time limit by the concerned officials.

 

📱 4. K-SMART Citizen Portal

K-SMART CITIZEN PORTAL

K-SMART is the online single-window service delivery system of the Local Self-Government Department.

Citizens can submit complaints related to various services online without visiting the Panchayat office directly. They can also track the progress of their applications and complaints using the Track Status facility.

 

🔍 5. Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau

VACB

Complaints can be directly submitted to the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau regarding demands for bribes, financial irregularities, misuse of government funds, corruption, and other related issues in Panchayat offices.
